Hello hello hello!! Its been an amazing week yall! So sit down, buckle up, and get ready for this ride of a lifetime (its probably not gonna be THAT exciting for YOU, but it was for me!)
This week started out pretty rough, not gonna lie... we weren't finding ANY new people, and it felt like everything was starting to fall apart. We couldn't meet with Chase, or Peyton, and it seemed like everyone was falling off date for baptism. I was so mentally exhausted, I didnt even know how to process everything.
But, even with cancellations of lessons, miracles truly did happen! Patrick was doing really well and we were able to get everyone squared away for his baptism that Saturday! We got to meet with Brixton for the first time in FOREVER. And we have appointments scheduled with everyone to meet and we are hoping to put some people BACK on date for baptism!
The biggest miracle that happened this week was that by Saturday we had found NO new people. We prayed for an opportunity to find new people at our appointments that day (because ALL of them were back to back). We went to our appointments and... WE FOUND TWO NEW PEOPLE!!! One is dating a members daughter and one is a brother of a person we are teaching!! AHHH WHEN YOU HAVE FAITH THE LORD PROVIDES!!
And now onto Patrick's baptism! It was so so SO amazing!! He was so excited and we had a hugeeee group of people show, which was amazing. So many teenagers came and so we were able to share a message that was specifically for the youth! It warmed my heart
and Chase came to the baptism, so he got to see what it was gonna be like when he got baptized. So many tender mercies happened this week. I feel so blessed.
My testimony that God provides when we have the faith that he will has grown so so much. I know for a fact that God wants to bless us, we just need to trust in His plan and His timeline. Which is super hard sometimes... I'm not going to lie. BUT God knows what's best for us and His other children. Rely on Him and believe in Him. He is REAL. And be grateful for the things he gives us! Because he really gives us so so much. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ because they have brought hope and peace back into my life:)
I love you all so much! Thank you for the emails, love, and support. You are the reason I am here on a mission!
Love,
Sis Brady
Ps. I turn 20 on Thursday??? Send help and advice
