well well well, where do I even begin? this has been QUITE the week you guys. My mind is still trying to process everything that happened.
This week started out all right. Not too much was happening and we were filling our time with messages, lessons, and door knocking. Ya know, classic missionary work. We found someone new to teach which is awesome!! We love Mary Jane! She is so sweet:)
But then, Thursday night happened. And boy oh boy did no one see this coming.. So me and my companion were driving down a straight road at about 35/40 mph (we can't speed in a vehicle owned by the mission or else it will tell you to "check your speed"). Anyway, we saw this guy approaching a stop sign at a cross road area. We figured he would stop. He had a stop sign and we did not. So we kept driving. This guy however did not stop, and by the time we realized he wasn't going to stop, he pulled out right in front of us and our cars collided. I tried to stop and swerve out of the way, but it didn't work. So the airbags in our car all deployed and the front of the car was wrecked. Me, being the emotional wreck that I am, started sobbing hysterically and everything just felt like a slow motion scene in a tv show. Luckily, both me and my companion were fine. we walked away without any scratches. We just have a bit of whiplash haha. The other guy was also fine and we are so grateful for that. While it wasn't our fault, it would have been horrible if something bad happened to any of the people involved.
In all reality, we should have been a lot more hurt. Based on the damage that was done, we should have been in the hospital. So if that taught me anything, it is that God was looking out for us that night. I have never felt so much protection and so many angels surrounding me. On this side of the veil, and in heaven. People were so quick to swarm us with love and care and make sure we were okay. Angels protected us that night. It was a miracle. God is real.
So after all of this happened, Sister Little got super sick on Sunday, so we went and got tested for COVID! YAY! And now we are quarantined. goodie. my third time. BUT it's is okay. I have accepted God's will at this point. Besides I only have 18 WEEKS LEFT. LIKE. WHAT??? So, I am going to make the most of it! oooo and I am staying in this area for another 6 weeks with Sister Little!!! We also got locked out of our apartment this week. Hahahaha my life's a joke.
Oh and I turn 21 on Saturday! Pray that I will be out of quarantine, but if not, pray that I can make the most out of it!
Well, that is the update! Thanks for all the love and prayers! We needed them this week! Sorry this email is so long!!! Love you guys!!!
Love,
Sister Brady
